2y - 3 \leqslant - 10 \\

Adding 3 to both sides ,


2y - 3 + 3 \leqslant - 10 + 3 \\ 2y \: \leqslant \: - 7

Dividing by 2 on both sides ,


(2y)/(2) \leqslant ( - 7)/(2) \\ \\ y \leqslant ( - 7)/(2) \: \: \: \: \: \: \: Ans.
