Use PEMDAS :
Parenthesis, Exponents, Multiplication & Division, Addition & Subtraction

[3² + (7 · 6 - 2²)] - [30 ÷ (4 + 1)]
[3² + (42 - 4)] - [30 ÷ (5)]
[3² + (38)] - [30 ÷ 5]
[9 + 38] - [6]
[47] - [6]
