Hello!

To find the original price, you'll first need to convert 40% into a decimal. You can do this by moving the decimal point twice to the left. So now you have 0.40. Now you'll need to divide 38.70 by 0.40. Once you've done that, you'll get the original price

The original price of the jacket was $96.75
