The new pressure is calculated using Boyles law formula
tha is P1V1=P2V2
P1= 3atm
V1=5 L
V2= 7500 =7500/1000= 7.5 L
p2=?
by making P2 the subject of the formula =P1V1/V2
P2= 3 atm x5 L/ 7.5 L =
2 atm is the new pressure
