It’s divided into five main layers; exosphere,thermosphere, mesosphere,stratosphere, and troposphere. The atmosphere thins out in each huger layer. Until the gases finally dissipate into space. The air also gets warmer the close to the ground and the farther from the ground the colder it gets.
