Why does hectors infant son afraid of him.

A. He has never met his farther.

In Homer's Iliad this scene occurred during Hector's farewell. As Hector held out his arms his son cried and hid at the sight of the armor he was wearing. Hector was also known for his "Fierce armor," that was said to have struck fear on the hearts of his enemies.
