prime number = numbers greater than 1, they only have two factors. 1 and the number itself.

composite number = positive integer, multiplying two smaller positive integers.

prime fact. = finding what the prime numbers are and then multiplying them.

factor tree = pretty self-explanatory. all of the numbers spread out into a way so that you can multiply them. for example, (image attached). hope this helps!!
