For this case we have the following expression:
(x-1) / (3) = k
Substituting the value of k = 3 we have:
(x-1) / (3) = 3
From here, we must clear the value of x.
We have then:
x-1 = 3 * 3
x-1 = 9
x = 9 + 1
x = 10
Answer:
The value of x is given by:
x = 10
