Behavior and properties of nanoscale particles having a 1–100 nanometers size scale are dominated by so-quantum effects. Melting point, fluorescence, magnetic permeability, electrical conductivity, and chemical reactivity change are some of the different properties present in nanoscale particle compared to macroscopic samples of the same substance.
