You can write about how meritocracy is not really being played here because not everyone has the same opportunities. People can all be qualified to a degreee. But not everyone can afford the degrees or has the time to juggle work and study so they have to quit their high ambitions. The wealthier groups have more contacts and more time since they are not financially burdened.
