Unless no other site is available, which site is contraindicated for insertion of a central venous catheter in an adult as it can increase the likelihood of a blood stream infection?

The answer would be subclavian. A central venous catheter known also as central line to provide fluids, medication or do some tests in seconds. It is done by inserting a long as well as flexible catheter. It can stay for weeks or months.
