n + n + 1 = - 131
2n + 1 = -131 Subtract 1 from both sides.
2n = - 131 - 1
2n = - 132 Divide by 2
n = - 132 /2
n = - 66
n + 1 = - 66 + 1 = - 65
the two numbers are
- 65 and - 66 <<<< answer
