If we right the ratio in fraction form it will look like this:

(432m^(2))/(864m^(3))

Since they are similar terms we can divide them. When dividing exponents, you will subtract the denominator's exponent from the numerator and divide the numerical coefficients directly and you will be left with this fraction:
