Whenever you want to find the distance between two points, you can use the distance formula.
d=√(x₂-x₁)²+(y₂-y₁)
d=√(6-(-1)²+(2-(-1)²
d=√(7)²+(3)²
d=√49+9
d=√58
d=7.62
