please please help <3 The case of Santa Fe v. Doe challenged student-led prayer before a football game. Imagine you are a Supreme Court Justice ruling on this case. What would your ruling be? Do students have the right to offer a public prayer before a school event? Or, is it a violation of the First Amendment? In the space provided, make an argument for or against the Santa Fe School District. Use evidence and reasoning to support your argument.

Answer:

I am against the idea of the student-led prayer before a football game. The first adamant is a freedom of religion. The prayer isn't a religion that is yet made but a prayer made up by students. The prayer wasn't a official religion that is officially recognized before. This is considered as a public gathering or even a activity likewise. Plus this is before an football game such gathering or actions could strongly affect the football game.

(This is using the idea from the previous person, just toned it down a bit and a little more understandable for me).

I compound that student led prayers violate the first amendment because of the following reasons; The constitution guarantees freedoms of worship for everyone. In such prayers, not all students subscribe to the student faith. Those students are thus offended, and have their rights limited.

The USA constitution does not establish any religion as the official religion and separates the church and the state. public prayers in public gatherings goes against this spirit as it seeks to establish one religion dominance over the other and over the secularist of the state.
