if the dominator is the same number as the denominator they equal out to be one. so the answer is 5.

First, multiply the numerators

5 · 9 = 45

To make the answer 1, it has to be out of the product of the numerators. That means it has to be out of 45.

9 · b = 45 is the same as: 45 ÷ 9 = b

45 ÷ 9 = 5

Your answer is B. 5
