The women during this era weren't given equal opportunities as compared to the men. Ladies were expected to be absolutely captivated with the lads for the supply of all their wants and necessities. The ladies were needed to remain reception so as to require care of their homes, children, and even husbands.
It was thus the responsibility of each woman of the house to air the high alert for any changes and new trends.Lucille Ball the actress, on the opposite hand acted during a famed TV program known as "I love Lucy." The show depicted Lucy as the classic 1950's woman of the house. She acted on the major character that was terribly loving and caring for her husband Ricardo.
The image of Lucy was prevailing, and it got wind of thousands of ladies for failure. Her subjects embody associate degree creator,a film director, associate degree archaeologist and a rally driver. She really wished things to vary back in 1950’s.

The character of Lucy is one of the most beloved in American Television History.

In many ways she was very nontraditional e.g. she was the first Female Lead of a mainstream American Sitcom and the show single-handled revolved around her.

She was challenging social norms, standing up for women's rights as well as the civil rights movements of the time.

However, in many ways she was also shown as a traditional woman of the 1950s. She did not have a job, she was a home maker, took care of children, cooked food and was seen as a 'motherly' figure by most television viewers.
