Endorphins are found where neurons meet skeletal muscles, they are pain reducing nuerotransmitters.
They are natural, opiate-like neurotransmitters linked to pain control and to pleasure, they are neurotransmitters that give one a feeling of well-being, euphoria or eliminate pain. Endorphins are group of hormones secreted within the brain and nervous system and having a number of physiological functions. They are peptides which activate the body's opiate receptors, causing an analgesic effect.
