What is the order of the numbers from least to greatest 6.2 x 10^-5, 12.3x10^-7, 5.2x10^3, 3.7x10^-5?

Answer:

The answer is B,D,C,A. With B being the least, and A being the greatest.

Explanation:

If I used the other guys answer and decided to break down the last 2 equations, I'd get 2 decimals. D being 0.037, and A being 0.062. So it's common sense which one is least or greater.

6.2 x 10^-5, 12.3x10^-7, 5.2x10^3, 3.7x10^-5 should be re-written as:

6.2 x 10^-5 => 6.2*10^(-5)
12.3x10^-7 => 1.23*10^(-6) (Definitely the smallest)
5.2x10^3 => 5.2*10^3 (Definitely the largest)
3.7x10^-5 => 3.7*10^(-5)

Please compare 6.2*10^(-5) and 3.7*10^(-5). Which is the smaller?
