Write x2 − 2x − 3 = 0 in the form (x − a)2 = b, where a and b are integers. (1 point) (x − 4)2 = 3 (x − 3)2 = 2 (x − 2)2 = 1 (x − 1)2 = 4

You can add 3 to get
x² -2x = 3
then add 1 to complete the square.
x² -2x +1 = 4
(x -1)² = 4 . . . . . . . corresponds to the 4th selection
