Let the length of Fahim’s shadow be x.

By Pythagoras theorem , we have


13^2=x^2+6^2\\\\\Rightarrow169=x^2+36\\\\\Rightarrow\ x^2=169-36\\\\\Rightarrow\ x^2=133\\\\\Rightarrow x=√(133)=11.5325625947\approx11.5

Hence, the length of Fahim’s shadow =11.5 feet
