it would be (3,6)

\binom{ 3}{1} + \binom{0}{5} = \binom{3}{6}

Answer:

(3,6)

Explanation:

The triangle shown in figure is translated up 5.

To find new coordinate of C

Original coordinate of C: (3,1)

Translation has two types: Vertical and Horizontal

  • For vertical translation: either shift up or down
  1. For up shift: Add value in y-coordinate
  2. For down shift: Subtract value in y-coordinate
  • For horizontal translation: either shift left or right
  1. For left shift: Subtract value in x-coordinate
  2. For right shift: Add value in x-coordinate

C: (3,1) shift 5 unit up

So, Add 5 in y-coordinate

(3,1) → (3,1+5)

(3,1) → (3,6)

Hence, The new coordinate of point C (3,6)
