An argument made by anti-imperialists in the late 1800’s was that the united states:

a- might have to force other countries to be free

b- might have to go to war over distant territories

c- should force other countries to adopt this culture

d- should force other countries to fight in US wars

B- might have to go to war over distant territories

Think about the other answer options. All of them have more of a tone of imperialism to them, rather than anti-imperialism. The anti-imperialists' main argument was that imperialism went against America's founding principles of liberty and justice for all. But it also would be an arguing point that extending the United States' reach into territories around the globe could pull the country into far-flung wars.
