The two major political parties in the United States are often accused of oversimplifying the electoral process. Why would this be seen as a weakness of a two-party system?

i woud believe that it would be a weakness because that means that the most important candidates are both subjected to the beliefs of their respected parties instead of speaking for themsleves and proving why they, themselves are a good choice. the two party system creates more of an election of a political party than for a president. now all professionalism aside: the political system is a joke and the stupid things our office is doing is a disgrace and ive honestly thought of going into the political field just for the purpose of doing something worth while but thats expensive and my grades arent good so instead we're just gonna get some more mediocre do nothing people with minimal impacts until a horrible one comes along and screws it all up. im avery and this has been my ted talk.
