If C is the midpoint of KN, then KC = CN.

KC = CN
2x+10 = 4x+1
9 = 2x . . . . . . . add -1-2x

You can solve for x, but that is not necessary. You can substitute directly for 2x.

KC = 2x+10 = 9+10 = 19
