When a point is reflected across any line, the Perpendicular Distance of that point from line , that is from Image and Preimage is Same.

→Equation of X axis is,⇒ y=0.

When point,P (2,3) is reflected across, X axis,then coordinates of Point after reflection will be , (2, -3).

PreImage = P(2,3)

Image = (2, -3)

When a point is reflected across the x-axis, the y-coordinate changes sign, but the x-coordinate remains unchanged.

P(2, 3) ⇒ P'(2, -3)
