A survey was done that asked people to indicate whether they run or ride a bike for exercise. Based on the table, what is the percentage of runners who do not bike?

Note minor mistake in the data.
All categories are mutually exclusive, so the sum can only have a maximum of 1.00. The given information adds up to 1.003, error will be ignored in the following calculations.

Extract runners from the table : bike: .727, do not bike .103
Therefore
percentage of runners who do not bike
= (0.103)/(0.727+0.103)
= 0.103/0.830
= 0.124 (to three significant digits)
= 12.4%
