The biggest difference between footnotes and endnotes is where the notes are placed.

Footnotes appear at the bottom of the page for any notes that apply to each specific page.

E
ndnotes appear collectively at the end of a paper, starting on a separate page and labeled as 'Endnotes'.

You're on your own now, I think this info would help you get on track

MLA style (Modern Language Association) uses both endnotes and footnotes, although it prefers endnotes. This style is used for academic research papers in the fields of literature and languages, linguistics, American Studies, and related fields in the humanities.
APA style (American Psychological Association) uses both footnotes and endnotes for research essays in the social sciences, behavioral sciences, and many other sciences.
