Find the area of the rectangle below (3x-2) (4x-7)

To find the area, we have to use the F.O.I.L. method to solve (3x-2)*(4x-7)

-> 12x^2-21x-8x+14

= 12x^2 - 29x + 14

So the area of the rectangle would be 12x^2 - 29x + 14.

All we can do here is assume that the width and length of the rectangle in question are 3x-2 and 4x-7.

If and only if this assumption is correct, then the area is L * W, or

(3x-2)(4x-7) = 12x^2 -13x + 14.
