step 1
find two points in the graph
let
A (0,0)
B (2,8)

step 2
find the slope m
m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)----> m=(8-0)/(2-0)----> m=8/2----> m=4

step 3
with m=4 and point A (0,0) find the equation of the line
y-y1=m*(x-x1)-----> y-0=4*(x-0)----> y=4x

the answer is
y=4x
