f(x) = 5x^2 -4

g(x) = x-2

find (f o g)(-3)

Solve g(x) first using -3 as x
g(x) = x-2
g(x) = -3 -2
g(x) = -5

Now replace x with -5 in the f(x) equation

f(x) = 5x^2 -4
f(x) = 5(-5)^2 -4
f(x) = 5*25 -4
f(x) = 125-4
f(x) = 121

The answer is D. 121
