Function of Golgi body:
Golgi body is also known as Golgi apparatus. It was discovered by an Italian scientist Camillo Golgi in 1897.
The Golgi apparatus is responsible for transporting, modifying, and packaging proteins and lipids into vesicles for delivery to targeted destinations.
Function of lysosomes:
Lysosome is the digestive organ of the cell. It is also known as suicide bag. It contain 50 different types of hydrolytic enzymes. Any foreign particle that enter into cell is engulfed by lysosme and digest it completely. Lysosome perform phagocytosis, autophagy. In autophagy any non functional component of cell or waste is captured by lysosome and digest it with help of enzymes.
