Agent Orange was a herbicide which contained deadly poison dioxin. It can cause cancer and birth defects. The United States Army used it against the North Vietnam guerrilla forces to destroy crops and forests. the program to spray Agent orange was code named as Operation Ranch Hand, under this operation more than 20 million gallons of chemicals over Vietnam and Cambodia. The purpose of spraying Agent orange was to destroy crops, forests and pollute the water sources.
