the radio broadcast takes places in the united states instead of in England or one is told in past and the other is told in present tense

There are several differences between the novel “the war of the Worlds” and the radio broadcast, when the adaptation was made, they apply changed in order fit better the content for the radio, for example in radio Broadcast:

- Used sound effects to add tension

- Was presented in news bulletins

- The incident was in the United Stated instead of England

- The radio broad cast was told in present to look like and event that was happening at the time
