Which ordered pair is the solution to the system of equations below using the elimination method

4x+6y=-4
5x+5y=10

{ 8, -6 } as you multiply the first equation with 1.25 to get :

5x + 7.5y = - 5


then, you use elemination by substraction to get rid of x:

2.5y = - 15


try to solve for y to get y = -6, and then you use either equation 1 or 2 to find the value of x, which in both cases is equal to 8.
