Short Answer B
Remark

I'm going to interpret this as

(8(y + 5))/([3*(3y + 7)])

Step One
Before removing the brackets, the easiest way to start is to substitute for y.

(8(3 + 5))/([3*(3*3 + 7)])

Step Two
Combine what's inside the brackets.

(8(8))/([3*(9 + 7)])

(8(8))/([3*(16)])

Step 3
Do the multiplication in both brackets in the top and bottom

(64)/(48)

Step 4
Reduce by dividing both top and bottom by 16.

( (64)/(16) )/( (48)/(16) )

The answer should be 4/3
