1.) In the first poem, "As children bid the guest good - night", it describes a mood of calmness by using flowers as a way to describe children. The poem states "My flowers raise their pretty lips" describing a flower closing in the night to sleep while "My flowers from a hundred cribs will peep, and prance again." describes the children waking up the next morning. This poem gives a calm and relaxed feeling through and out the text.
2.) This poem describes a happy and relaxed mood by describing daffodil's and how they dance through the breeze. The term "dancing with the daffodils" shows the feeling of happiness as the author describes how his heart is filled with joy. Relaxation is felt as the author compares the daffodils to the "twinkle on the milky way" term.
