we have that
a=12 cm
b=?
c=15 cm
Applying the Pythagoras Theorem
c²=a²+b²
15²=12²+b²
b²=15²-12²
b²=225-144
b²=81
b=√81
b=9 cm
the answer is
b=9 cm

A triangle has side lengths 9, 10, and 12. Is it acute, obtuse, or right? Explain. A. Right; 92 + 102 = 181 and 122 = 144, so a? + b2 = c2. O B. Obtuse; 92 + 102 = 181 and 122 = 144, so a+ b2 < c. C. Acute; 92 + 102 = 181 and 122 = 144, so a2 + b2 >c2.
