3 people are to be chosen from 15 to promote the club. We can find the total number of 3 groups that can be formed from 15 by using the combinations formula, as this is a problem of combinations.

So, total number of possible groups of 3 people out of 15 will be:

15C3= (15!)/(3!*12!)=455

So, total 455 groups can be formed of 3 people. Out of these 455 group only 1 group can contain all 3 members Joseph, Heidi, and Katy.

So, the probability that Joseph, Heidi, and Katy are chosen = 1/455
