A pool is circular shaped, so we need to use the area for a circle formula.

Radius= 1/2(Diameter)= 1/2(32)= 16

AREA CIRCLE FORMULA
A= πr^2

A= (3.14)(16)^2
square 16; multiply 16 by 16 one time

A= (3.14)(256)

A= 803.84 square feet

ANSWER: The area of the tarp needed, rounded to the nearest tenth, is 803.8 square feet.

Hope this helps! :)
