You have just landed a position as a Certified Medical Administrative Assistant at the Pediatric Associates in a neighboring town. The waiting room is full of people and several of them are talking loudly on their cell phones in spite of there being signs asking that phones not be used in the waiting area. You are on the phone with a patient who is trying to make an appointment to see the doctor; however, due to the excessive noise in the waiting room you’re having difficulty hearing the patient.
