Hello!

You can break the inequality up into 2

1 < = n + 4 and n + 4 <= 8

You can solve the two inequalities

1 < = n + 4

Subtract 4 from both sides

-3 <= n

n + 4 <= 8

Subtract 4 from both sides

n <= 4

We are looking for a number line that is -3<= n <= 4

The number line needs to have the dots on -3 and 4 with the dots shaded in

The only line that follows this is choice A

The answer is A

Hope this helps!
