we know that
if
Amy pays 24.50 for 7 tickets
so
cost each ticket is=24.50/7-----> £
3.50
find the total number of tickets=
£63/£3.50-----> 18 ticket
let
x----->
amount of tickets purchased by Dan
18=7+x -----> x=18-7-----> x=11
the answer is
11
