slope m = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1)
slope m =(2 - 0) / (4 + 4)
slope m = 2/8
slope m = 1/4

y = mx + b
b = y - mx
b = 0 - (1/4)(-4)
b = 1

Slope-intercept form: y = mx + b
you now have m = 1/4 and b = 1

Equation in slope-intercept form:
y = 1/4(x) + 1

Hope it helps
