Small : Medium : Large = 5:7:12

216 cakes in total

5 + 7 + 12 = 24

216 ÷ 24 = 9

S : M : L

5 : 7 : 12

45 : 63 : 108

45 small cakes sold

1 : 2 : 3

45×1 : 63×2 : 108×3

45 : 126 : 324

45 + 126 + 324 = 495

Total profit = £648.45

£648.45 ÷ 495= £1.31

The profit for one small cake = £1.31

45 small, 63 medium, and 108 large, might be a better way of solving it but adding up the total ratio of 5+7+12 to get 24 and then dividing 216 by it gives you 9 which you can then multiply by 5,7,12 or whatever numbers you have
