A parallelogram has two equal sides.

Let the length be L

The width is W

P = L + L + W + W

P = 2L + 2W

P = 2*(L + W)

P = 30, L = 5

P = 2*(L + W)

30 = 2*(5 + W)

30/2 = (5 + W)

15 = 5 + W

5 + W = 15

W = 15 - 5

W = 10

The length of the other side is 10 feet.

given p = 30

l = 5

therefore p= 2 (a +b)

30 = 2 (5)+2b

2b=30-2 (5)=20

2b = 20

b=20/2=10

° ° the otherside is equal to 10 ft
