It is given in the question that

Claude has 2 jars of marbles. Each jar has 10 blue marbles and 10 green marbles. He selects 2 marbles from each jar.

Selecting 2 blue marbles out of 10 blue marbles is

10C 2 = 45

And selecting 2 marbles out of 20 marbles is

20C2 =190

Therefore probability of selecting 2 blue marble each from the two jars is

(45)/(190)*2 = 0.474
