Mr.Hill has 27 students in his class and Mr. Chang has 24 students in his class. Both classes will be divided into equal sized teams within their own classes. What is the greatest number of all students that can be team so that all the team's are an equal number?

You would have to prime factorize. 24 is 3, 2, 2, 2. 27 is 3,3,3. To get the largest equal teams, you would have to have teams of 3.

GCF (greatest common factor) of 27 and 24 = 3

Answer = 3
