To find the answer for x, you have to use the pythagoryen theorem. The line AC is 16 inches, but the little segment of the triangle is 4 inches. So first, you have to use the pythaoryen theoremĀ  and get this equation: CB plus AB=16 inches. Once you find CB, use it again to find the value of DB. DB plus DC equals CB. Then DB = X.
