A straight line with x-intercept -6 is parallel to the line 5x+3y=15. Find the y-intercept of that line

Subtract the 5x to move it to the other side to get 3y = -5x + 15

Then, divide by 3 to get y by itself to get
y = -(5/3)x + 5

The y-intercept of the line 5x + 3y = 15 would be 5. Hope this helps you!
